RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE
Oct. 2022 - Present
Lead Software Engineer @ The Apple Museum Foundation
After working at Amac for a year, I got in touch with the team at the Apple Museum Foundation They were looking someone to help with upgrading their collection database which was built in FileMaker. I was solely responsible for developing a new system that allowed the museum to manage their collection more efficiently. After a few months, the first version of the Laravel-based system was ready to be used. Now, I manage all software-related projects for the Apple Museum and develop software solutions for the museum's needs. This includes projects like the Museum Collection Database, Audio Tour, and Backoffice. It also includes thinking about experience design and technological implementations for the museum's visitors.
The museum will be opening in 2025, and I'm excited to be part of the team that's making it happen. You can find more information about the museum on the website.

Software Engineering Intern @ Dolphiq
I completed my graduation internship at Dolphiq, a web development agency in Bilthoven, Utrecht. Here, I'm working on a variety of projects for clients, including web applications, websites, and other web-based solutions.
I was assigned a project from a new client that wants to build a web application that allows them to streamline the business processes regarding campaign and asset management in the loyalty programme branch. For my portfolio, I was also required to do research on a subject that fit the end project. I chose to do a deep dive into applying Infrastructure-as-Code on AWS for Laravel applications. Here I researched the AWS landscape and optimising deployment workflows using CI/CD with Bitbucket and Terraform as IAC tooling.
During my time there, I learnt a lot about web development, project management, and working in a professional environment, and I'm looking forward to applying what I've learned in my future career.
Mar. 2023 - Jan. 2025
Junior Software Developer @ Amac
After I developed the Sales Assistant because the Amac employees had trouble checking the stock of products, and with the help of some colleagues, I was offered a part-time student position as a Junior Software Developer. Here, I started focusing on developing applications that would make the lives of the employees easier and more efficient. This included the Sales Assistant, but also automating tasks like label creation for FIFO sorting products.
For the last year, I've been working on the Amac Training website, which is a platform that allows customers to make appointments for training sessions and learn about their Apple products. The platform is built with Laravel, Vue.js, and Tailwind CSS and is integrated with the Amac API, which automagically registers new customers in the application.
I'm responsible for the full development cycle, from stakeholder management to design to deployment, even managing the Azure Cloud infrastructure. The platform is used by all 48 Amac stores and a large number of customers. The first version was released in August of 2024 and has been receiving updates the weeks after.

Intern Software Developer @ Booq Software
During the second year of my study HBO-ICT, I did a 3-month internship at Booq Software. Booq provides restaurants, hotels, and other hospitality venues POS solutions including hardware, software, and support.Together with another student, we developed a support portal for their fleet management system. The portal allows customer support agents to manage and monitor the POS systems in restaurants more efficiently and fix problems remotely. It also includes SSH and VNC tools in-browser for high-level support.
The portal was built with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular and is still in use today. I learned a lot about working in a professional environment, working with a large (20+ IT staff) team, and developing software that's used in the real world.

MSc Next Level Engineering @ HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht
After earning my Bachelor of Science, I felt it wasn’t quite the right time to dive into full-time work. Being relatively young, I decided to pursue the Master Next Level Engineering program at HU. I’m proud to say I’m the youngest in my class, which brings together a diverse group of students from various engineering fields, including electrical, industrial, mechanical, civil, and software engineering.
I thrive in interdisciplinary environments and love the opportunity to experience new cultures and meet new people while acquiring fresh skills. This master’s program aligns perfectly with my interests and aspirations, making it an exciting step in my journey.
